Our caring team of experienced practitioners have a professional love for all of our children. At Green Lane Nursery we offer a caring and nurturing place for your baby or child, where play is celebrated and smiles are everywhere. Our qualification levels are high, many practitioners have degrees and foundation degrees, and we support each other to continually improve. Every member of staff is fully trained in First Aid for children and babies; several are trained in the use of a defibrillator, which we have on site.
When your child reaches school age, their journey with our team may continue. Playdays is the part of Green Lane Nursery Ltd that offers wraparound care for many local families.
Green Lane Nursery has a long-established reputation for homely, nurturing early years education, with practitioners caring for children as if they were their own. We are expertly managed by Andy O’Connor and Jodie Godden, with a teacher-led curriculum and many early years graduates and skilled practitioners sharing their knowledge and experience every day. We love the outdoors, and as well as playing in our lovely garden every day the weather allows, we keep a fleet of minibuses, allowing us to take children out into the local countryside to play and explore; or to visit residents of local care homes and brighten up their days with our smiles, songs and stories. Our youngest members are treated to trips to the park on warm days, or a stroll around the leafy local streets.
Famly makes communication between our settings and our families much easier for everyone. You as parents can access your own online accounts, pay your bill through the mobile app, and even request session changes. It is an extremely convenient way of managing your child(ren)’s care and at the same time it has dramatically reduced our carbon footprint. Newsletters, Invoices, permissions and accident forms will all be sent out on Famly.
- If you have more than one child at our settings you can use the same login for both, and manage their care, notices and invoices in the same place. Once you have a login you can add another parent or anyone that may collect you child and put their picture on the system.
- You can send message to your setting staff or to the office, and report that your child is sick or on holiday.
- You can update details and permissions directly to Famly, for example if you move house or change your telephone number.
- You can request care through the Famly app and get a much quicker response from the team than previously and then your account gets updated automatically as well as our paperless registers.
Setting staff will still be available for a face-to-face conversation which we believe is very important and you can still ring us if you want.
